Tech deals: Alion, Trend Micro, iomart, AudioCodes, Ensono, ORHub, Solace, Oracle, Salient CRGT, Aspen Technology, Google, SAP, Digi, among others, have announced their latest tech deals or technology deployments.

Alion

Alion Science and Technology has won a $49.8 million Army Futures Command (AFC) contract by the US Army Contracting Command to support the development of new Army concepts, capabilities, and systems.

Trend Micro

Cybersecurity company Trend Micro said it provided endpoint security solutions to Syndicate Bank, securing nearly 25,000 endpoints across its 4,000 branches.

iomart

CommPoint IT, a managed services provider based in the south east of England, has selected iomart as its cloud and connectivity enterprise solutions provider.

AudioCodes

AudioCodes, a vendor of voice networking and media processing solutions, announced its tech deal to supply session border controllers (SBCs) and IP phone to Arkadin. AudioCodes’ solutions will be a key element of Arkadin’s Skype for Business offering, as well as its Microsoft Teams solution.

Ensono

Guinness World Records (GWR) has selected Ensono to manage the migration of its business critical IT architecture to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform from its current managed cloud services.

ORHub

ORHub, a software company, announced its tech deal with Alvarado Hospital Medical Center. ORHub will provide software platform to capture real-time surgical data before, during and after surgery to identify efficiencies that will optimize surgical economics.

Solace

Solace announced its tech deal with CargoSmart, a provider of shipment management software, for supplying Solace PubSub+ event broker technology and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity to help ocean shippers including OOCL improve the productivity and efficiency of their shipping management and vessel operations.

Oracle

Oracle announced its tech deal with Saudi Arabian pharmacy retailer Nahdi Medical for utilizing the new marketing analytic models found on the Innovation Workbench, part of Oracle Retail Science Cloud Services, to develop customer churn analytics which will encourage repeat purchases.

Salient CRGT

Salient CRGT has won a $21.5 million tech contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Division to provide support of infrastructure information systems that support USACE’s users in Afghanistan.

HRS

HRS, a hotel solutions provider, announced its tech contract with Airbus to oversee digital transformation of its hotel program. HRS will assist Airbus to manage its hotel negotiations and ensure the right content flows into existing booking tools and new mobile applications.

Aspen Technology

Aspen Technology, asset optimization software company, announced that SK Engineering & Construction, a city developer and infrastructure builder based in South Korea, has deployed AspenTech’s Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) software. SK Engineering will use the ACCE software to produce more accurate project cost estimates and bids.

Google

Expedia.com announced the launch of the Expedia Action for the Google Assistant, giving the ability to manage travel plans through hands-free, natural voice commands on any Google Assistant-enabled device.

SAP

SAP announced that Deutsche Telekom, Cooler Master, a global thermal solutions provider, and KSB Group, a manufacturer of pumps and valves, have adopted the SAP Sales Cloud solution to build relationships with their customers and bring more efficiency and speed to sales.

Digi

SmartSense by Digi, a division of Digi International focused on Internet of Things (IoT)-based condition monitoring, announced its tech deal with Trimble. Digi said Trimble is integrating SmartSense temperature monitoring for food safety systems to provide remote, real-time temperature data for their data aggregation and supply chain analytics platform.
