HCL Infosystems arm DDMS to distribute Silicon Power’s storage products in India

Infotech Lead India: HCL Infosystems’ subsidiary Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services (DDMS) will distribute Silicon Power India’s storage products in India.

The products under the distribution agreement will include Silicon Power’s  flash memory cards, USB flash drives and solid state disks.

The HCL arm and Silicon will collaborate on marketing, sales and technical areas and overall go-to market activities.

Silicon will benefit from DDMS’s mobile distribution that covers over 200 cities in India.

“We believe this partnership will add a new dimension to our current offerings and further grow the flash data storage market in the country. For DDMS this partnership will add an important dimension of mobile and IT Products range to its portfolio. With our extensive and robust channel network we are sure that Silicon Power will be a huge success in India,” said Sanjay David, CEO of Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services.

“The collaboration will expand our reach across the country and make the complete range of Silicon Power products available to the market. The wide network of DDMS would establish our presence and would enable increase in our sales as well as an overall growth in market share,” said Kuldip Sengar, director – Sales of Silicon Power India.

DDMS will be responsible for the marketing related activities for Silicon Power’s products in the country, and further help promote, participate and extend the sale of the Silicon Power’s products through activities such as market research, advertising, trade shows, internet marketing etc.

Recently, HCL Infosystems launched its notebook powered by Intel Core i3 processors.
