Lenovo India announced the appointment of Amit Doshi as chief marketing officer (CMO) — responsible for strengthening the Lenovo brand in India and South Asia to enable profitable growth across all business segments.
Lenovo India said Bhaskar Choudhuri, the current CMO, will become the new CMO for Lenovo Asia Pacific adding more responsibility. Amit Doshi in the new role will report to Bhaskar Choudhuri.
Amit Doshi will ensure profitable growth across all business segments – Consumer, Enterprise and SMB – of Lenovo India. He will focus on deepening digital and data competencies towards building a more customer-centric organization.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Amit Doshi worked in the FMCG industry for 10 years and his last role was at Britannia Industries.
Amit Doshi has been a significant contributor to the Lenovo business, in establishing the Lenovo brand in tablets and smartphones, initiating Lenovo’s digital transformation journey and increasing Lenovo’s consideration in the PC category.
