Capgemini signs IT deal with Nokia

Capgemini has signed a multi-million euro contract with Nokia till 2020. With this three-year agreement, Capgemini will optimize Nokia’s order management operations worldwide.

According to the company, Capgemini and Nokia are in relationship since 2010 and contract was due to expire to 2017.

With this deal, Capgemini will provide customer order management services, including preparation for delivery, distribution and customer invoicing to Nokia throughout its global network.

Additionally, consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider has drawn on its Supply Chain Management Business Process Outsourcing capabilities including its Global Enterprise Model (GEM) and innovative BPOpen platform to consolidate and harmonize Nokia’s operations from 27 locations into five global delivery centers.

“We recognize Capgemini as Supply Chain experts and look forward to developing our relationship into new areas to support our business growth,” said Johannes Giloth, Senior Vice President Global Operations at Nokia Networks.

In April, Capgemini acquired IT services company IGATE for $4 billion in a bid to expand its presence in the North American IT outsourcing market.
