Vodat International deploys NCR Authentic to support Unified Payment Service

Vodat International has deployed NCR Authentic, an intelligent payments platform from Alaric, an NCR business.

Vodat will support its Unified Payment Service which provides retailers with a managed, PCI-compliant card processing solution.

The company said its clients can reduce customer waiting times and increase the number of customers they are able to serve on a daily basis.

The Unified Payment Service is managed by Vodat and delivered over its secure, resilient network and implemented by customers with 70 to 750 payment devices.

Additionally, retailers can access the Unified Payment Service through a simple and secure interface installed on their point of sale (POS) solution.

This apart, Authentic and Vodat’s proprietary software can communicate with each other.

Authentic delivers unrivalled flexibility, with message mapping, processing workflow and business logic all users configurable.

Meanwhile, clients will have total strategic control of their system and perform or maintain their own customizations.

“Authentic’s strong credentials across the banking sector provided us with the confidence we needed to progress,” said Ian Martin, head of Payment Services at Vodat.

In June, NCR Corporation announced Yorkshire Building Society used Authentic, a payment platform from Alaric, an NCR business, to provide essential card authorization, routing and switching.

In May, Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) deployed NCR Authentic to deliver payment services across Central and Eastern Europe.
