NCR Silver Register launched to enhance employee productivity

NCR Small Business has launched an all-in-one tablet point-of-sale (POS) system, NCR Silver Register, which maximizes employee productivity and minimizes security risks.

The company said tablet POS system runs NCR Silver in the cloud and also excludes third-party user applications.

Additionally, merchants can take mobile transactions as NCR Silver Register easily sync with select Apple devices in the cloud while allowing associates to create opportunities to deliver the omni-channel experiences.

This apart, NCR Silver Register offers plug-and-play functionality for small businesses.

Company officials said the newly launched solution attracts larger franchises and multi-store retailers as the solid-state terminal delivers a higher level of durability.

In addition, small businesses can save time and money with the cloud-based platform which eliminates manual processes associated with inventory management.

NCR is offering NCR Silver Register with a tablet, integrated stand and its LED display delivers visual quality.

NCR Silver Register provides post-sale support, which helps maximize solution efficiency and easily troubleshoot any issues.

Also, the new system has multi-touch functionality and is durable and accurate fast touch interface with finger output.

Last month, NCR Corporation launched a new commerce hub, NCR Retail ONE, to provide frictionless shopping experiences for consumers.

In May, NCR Corporation launched the latest version of Authentic, its transaction processing solution from Alaric, an NCR business which incorporates a new browser-based POS and card management interface.

Few weeks ago, Victoria Group, a supermarket chain in Russia, selected NCR Self-checkout technology to improve shopping experience.
