Hewlett Packard Enterprise introduced a portfolio of solutions built for the Docker ecosystem.
The new solutions span cloud, software, storage and services and are currently available.
“Containers are changing the way applications are developed and managed, bridging the gap between IT and developers and helping organizations accelerate their pace of innovation,” said Narayanan Chellappan, Country Director, Cloud Division, Hewlett Packard Enterprise India.
“Hewlett Packard Enterprise is embracing and extending Docker capabilities by providing a comprehensive set of enterprise class tools and services to help customers develop, test and run Docker environments at enterprise scale.”
Some of the new offerings include, solutions that enable developers and IT operators to deploy microservices and allows developers and IT operations to test, deploy and monitor Dockerized applications.
Nick Stinemates, VP, business development and technical alliances, Docker said developers today require a new model to build, ship and run distributed applications that existing infrastructures were not designed for.
Stinemates continued to say that Docker provides application portability, unifying application deployment to any infrastructure, whether on-premises or in the cloud.
