Pradeep Metals selected Epicor because it met the company’s business requirements.
Epicor Software says its ERP solution will enable Pradeep Metals to streamline the product lifecycle process enabling the company to increase productivity, achieve a faster time to market, improve process transparency and boost customer satisfaction.
Pradeep Metals will implement a number of Epicor ERP modules including: material management and purchase, finance/costing, production planning, sales and distribution, logistics and customer connect.
Pradeep Goyal, managing director for Pradeep Metals, said: “The choice to use Epicor was based on the fact that it required minimum customization, provided a user friendly interface, and displayed strong business intelligence out of the box.”
The solution will be implemented by authorized Epicor partner Simple Logic.
CA Alex, sales director for Simple Logic, said: “We will partner with Pradeep Metals throughout the complete lifecycle of the application, beginning with the business process review and implementation, and continuing with addition of new functionalities, maintenance and support as long as it is needed.”
Meanwhile, Water World, Egypt’s water treatment company, has selected chosen to deploy the financial, logistics and manufacturing modules of Epicor ERP.
The solution is being implemented in collaboration with Global Business Solutions (GBS), an Epicor Channel Partner in Egypt.
“The single most important criteria for selecting Epicor was our need for a powerful, proven solution that comprehensively supports manufacturing while still being easy to use,” said Islam Fayez, financial controller at Water World.
“The favorable cost of the solution was another significant motivator for our choice. The fact that Epicor also offers excellent after-sales support meant that we can rest assured that we will always have the critical data that we need,” Fayez added.
Paul Hammond, regional vice president for Epicor in the Middle East, said: “Our ERP solution gives enhanced scalability and flexibility coupled with continuing support of new requirements and the availability of tailored business intelligence reports to Water World.”
