Big data analytics and marketing applications company Teradata said Sligro Food Group Netherlands uses a Teradata data warehouse platform and Teradata Marketing Applications solutions for marketing.
Teradata will help to manage Sligro’s ten years of customer data for individualized customer communications program via on and offline channels.
In addition, Sligro will use Teradata’s Omni-Channel Marketing Solution to analyze customer data, segment target groups, and generate real-time multi-channel dialogues over online and offline channels, to drive increased customer retention.
In June, Teradata has launched Teradata Loom 2.5, Teradata RainStor version 7 and announced multi-year commitment to contribute to Presto’s open source development.
Teradata has unveiled Loom 2.5, a solution for data lake management to help prevent data lakes from being inaccessible and ungovernable.
With Teradata Loom, users can easily find, access, and analyze data in data lakes which helps in generation of new business insights.
In May, Teradata announced Teradata REST Services (Representative State Transfer) offering an agile and easy interface to a Teradata Database from any device for insights that support data driven decisions.
