SAP promoted Concur, a provider of travel and expense management solutions, today announced its deal to acquire Hipmun.
The innovations spearhead by Adam Goldstein, the co-founder and CEO of Hipmunk, will support the strategy of Concur to deliver consumer-grade products to corporate customers.
Earlier, Concur acquired TripIt, developed ExpenseIt and made investment in ClearTrip as part of the strategy to enhance its presence in the travel and expense management solutions market.
These investments created capabilities that enable Concur to deliver consumer-grade products to corporate customers.

Hipmunk was the first to create a website and mobile app that sorts travel results by price and key factors that are important to business travelers such as duration, stops and hotel location.
Its calendar integration and hotel map search allow business travelers to see the best hotel and flight options based on meeting time and location. Hipmunk is a leader in the space of artificial intelligence-powered travel search and travel bots.
