Infotech Lead India: CA Technologies has signed global distribution agreement with Nastel Technologies, a middleware infrastructure monitoring and management company.
The agreement strengthens CA Technologies cross-platform offering by adding Nastel’s AutoPilot for middleware management.
Under this agreement CA Technologies will resell and distribute Nastel’s AutoPilot for middleware, covering IBM WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, DataPower and TIBCO.
“Customers around the world are looking for an enterprise solution that manages their middleware infrastructure across mainframe, distributed and cloud platforms,” said Dayton Semerjian, general manager, Mainframe, CA Technologies.
“Given the success of our cross-platform application performance management solution, this partnership makes great sense as it extends our already robust monitoring and management capabilities into one of the fastest growing adjacent segments.”
The AutoPilot solution complements the performance management solutions that CA Technologies offers by extending the management and monitoring capabilities deeper in the middleware infrastructure.
CA Application Performance Management provides application and transaction monitoring and CA SYSVIEW Performance Management monitors mainframe performance. AutoPilot provides monitoring and management of the middleware infrastructure.
Nastel CEO David Mavashev, said, “The agreement takes the depth and breadth of our award-winning AutoPilot product line to even more customers around the world.”
The AutoPilot for Middleware Management solution and its support for the IBM WebSphere MQ family and other middleware solutions is available immediately from CA Technologies.
CA Technologies recently acquired privately-held Paragon Global Technology, Inc. (PGTI), a provider of software products that help clients improve service delivery by visualizing data from CA Workload Automation AE (formerly CA AutoSys).
