CA Technologies said its identity and access management (IAM) solution for managed service providers, CA Secure Cloud, has been integrated into BT’s new managed identity service, BT Assure Cloud Identity.
Company officials said that by using the enterprise-grade IAM capabilities within CA Secure Cloud, BT’s solution will protect business data in the cloud, on-premise or in hybrid IT systems.
To meet the demand for securely and cost effectively connecting employees, customers and partners to company applications from any location on any device Assure Cloud Identity offers a flexible solution.
CA Secure Cloud controls the access to BT customers’ on premises and cloud applications and is the core IAM technology behind the Assure Cloud Identity service.
The control includes the efficient provisioning and management of users, federated single sign-on for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and on-premise applications.
Company said control also includes protection against inappropriate access and fraud through advanced authentication services that incorporate multi-factor and behavioral analytics to make the process as seamless as possible.
Assure Cloud Identity is hosted and available in the UK and dual resilient data centers. The service would be made available throughout Europe and other regions progressively.
“As a managed service, Assure Cloud Identity gives our customers the confidence and convenience of protecting critical data from loss or improper use, no matter where it resides,” said Mark Hughes, president, BT Security.
Few days ago, BT launched an advanced security platform, Assure Cyber, promising monitoring, detection and protection against cyber threats targeted at private sector and government organizations.
In February, BT and Scala partnered to supply digital solutions globally.
In November last year, BT launched new cloud services for its customers across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region.
