Tech Mahindra decided to work with CommVault’s Cloud Solution Group (CSG) and Simpana 10 platform based on the effectiveness of CommVault’s cloud backup enablement and capabilities to make additional functionality easily available.
The new solution enables service provider to deliver a new range of benefits to customers.
With a single software platform and shared infrastructure, Tech Mahindra can offer complete web-based self service portals, workflow automation, efficient data movement and rapid protection of virtual workloads — across backup, archive, disaster recovery and search.
Based on the customer requirements, the alliance partners can build their own integrated offerings.
To establish a Cloud Solution Center of Excellence in Bangalore facility, Tech Mahindra will utilize CommVault’s Cloud consultancy best practices.
Meanwhile, CommVault is working with NaviSite, a Time Warner Cable Company and a provider of hosting, managed applications, managed messaging and managed cloud services, to extend the data protection capabilities of Simpana software to NaviSite’s NaviCloud portfolio.
Recently, Ballance Agri-Nutrients, an agri business, has deployed CommVault Simpana software to enhance data scalability and to enable mobile end-user access. Simpana software provides an integrated suite of enterprise-class backup and recovery, data protection and mobility solutions that ensure all critical business data can be securely accessed and recovered by staff members using any mobile device.
