RSA extends RSA Security Analytics and introduces RSA Via family

RSA Security Analysis has added new capabilities to RSA Security Analytics and also launched the RSA Via family of Smart Identity solutions.

RSA has added new capabilities to its Security Analysis to help organizations extend protection of their infrastructure into the cloud.

The organizations can detect and respond to advanced attack campaigns before the business is damaged with the necessary context provided by the RSA Security Analysis.

The security division of EMC said the new capabilities also offer visibility into attacks that target critical customer-facing web and mobile applications, and introduces data privacy capabilities.

RSA Security Analytics is being offered with new pricing and packaging options including throughput-based pricing, subscription options and the ability for customers to leverage existing storage investments.

Company said it is designed to aggregate logs along with data from network packets, endpoints.

The data is analyzed to allow the organizations to predict what was targeted, attacker’s strategy and the magnitude of the attack such that they can respond and can take actions before the confidential information is breached.

Company officials said new capabilities also include visibility into attacks that target critical customer-facing web and mobile applications as well as data privacy capabilities.

Additionally, RSA Security Analysis is engineered to include new data privacy capabilities.

RSA has also launched the RSA Via family of Smart Identity solutions.

The solution is engineered to combine authentication, identity and access management, and identity governance silos into one unified solution that allows dynamic, end-to-end identity management across diverse systems and users.

New identity portfolio includes RSA Via Access, RSA Via Lifecycle and RSA Via Governance as well as RSA SecurID and RSA Adaptive Authentication.

The RSA Via portfolio of solutions is built for the dynamic IT environments of today and the need for identity management to be tightly aligned with business priorities and needs.

The newest solution in the RSA Via family, RSA Via Access, is designed to address the convenience needs of end users and security needs of business.

Last year in September, RSA announced the new RSA Advanced Security Operation Center (SOC) Solution that arms security teams with new tools to help identify undetected threats that often result in data breaches.
