Kaspersky Lab has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Agency of Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF) to provide threat intelligence to the agency.
ANINF is the Gabonese government agency responsible for implementing a digital development strategy in the country, which manages the planning, installation and application of all digital projects, including telecommunications, audiovisual and IT in the Gabonese Republic.
Under the MoU with ANINF, Kaspersky Lab will hold specialist training sessions to share its technical expertise and participate in joint activities.
“This partnership is necessary for the Gabonese Republic. Together with Kaspersky Lab, we will have a wealth of cybersecurity expertise,” said Alex Bernard Bongo Ondimba, general director at ANINF.
“By signing the memorandum with ANINF, we are delighted to start cooperation with the Gabonese government and are sure it will be mutually beneficial and successful,” said Veniamin Levtsov vice-president Enterprise and Presale at Kaspersky Lab.
In April, Allied Telesis, a provider of secure IP/Ethernet switching solutions, selected Kaspersky Lab to provide anti-malware and anti-virus engines for its next-generation firewalls.
