UST Global today announced its seven-year, $30 million deal with the Madhya Pradesh government to digitize its 377 urban local bodies.
UST Global, as per the digital deal, will assist these local bodies to provide facilities such as electronic bill payments and online filing of grievances to its citizens. The state’s projects in water, electricity, public health and transportation will benefit from the IT deal.
The company will also train and hire 10,000 differently-abled individuals in India over three years. It also plans to hire 5,000 people during the same period, said Sajan Pillai, CEO of UST Global.
In addition to e-governance projects in India, UST Global is seeing potential in SMAC (social, mobility, analytics, cloud) and cyber security.
