Wordbank and CDNetworks partnership will take on marketing opportunity in China

Infotech Lead America: Wordbank and CDNetworks announced their new partnership to help clients expand into the fast-growing Chinese market.

The new services are available immediately to Wordbank and CDNetworks’ existing clients and will form part of both companies’ standard offerings. Companies launching in or considering marketing to China could benefit from comprehensive local market knowledge and established high-performance networks.

According to a report by the National Bureau of Statistics of China, GDP in China grew by 7.8 percent during 2012. The online market opportunity in China is huge as 210 million out of the country’s 538 million internet users are regular online shoppers (The 30th Survey Report, CNNIC).

The new partnership between Wordbank and CDNetworks helps clients take advantage of this opportunity by providing an end-to-end solution from brand strategy, linguistic and creative services through to hosting and launch.

Wordbank’s extensive experience in international marketing gives them the expertise required to launch and manage campaigns in multiple regions, covering local market research, concept testing and international search and social media management through to the fundamentals of translating and copywriting region-specific content.

CDNetworks’ widespread global network and well-established Chinese presence offers a seamless, high-performance network both inside and outside the Chinese firewall. This provides companies the flexibility and scalability to deliver website content and applications to Chinese consumers with competitive performance and availability from anywhere in the world.

In another significant development CDNetworks joined Datamena’s customer ecosystem.

Datamena is the carrier neutral data center and connectivity platform based in the UAE, servicing the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

CDNetworks will offer Datamena content acceleration, dynamic web acceleration, and media streaming to bring content closer to users in MEA, resulting in faster website and content downloads, from seconds to milliseconds.
