Infotech Lead Middle East: StorIT, a data storage distributor in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, has signed a distributor agreement with Moonwalk.

The partnership is expected to benefit enterprises in the Middle East and North African (MENA) regions as organizations can access to efficient data management and archiving solutions.

StorIT will exclusively distribute large-scale data solutions of Moonwalk. The company targets industry segments like banking, healthcare, government, research & development, education and resources.

Moonwalk is expected to complement StorIT’s service and product offering in the Enterprise Storage, archiving and cloud space. Moonwalk also supports vendors including EMC, Quantum, Mellanox and QLogic.

“Entering into this strategic new alliance with Moonwalk Inc. gives us the advantage of offering a unique product that addresses the need to manage complex, data management through the tiers of storage and is comparatively economical as it is a software only solution,” said Bobby Joseph, CEO, StorIT.

“With this new partnership, StorIT will now be able to form the core of its 100 per cent channel approach. In return, the company will usher Moonwalk into a totally different sphere, both in scale and reach as StorIT remains a large distributor in the data storage category that covers key industry sectors in the MENA region that we have not yet reached,” said Peter Harvey, CEO, Moonwalk.
