L&T Infotech has bagged a $10 million deal from Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) to integrate the business functions.
L&T Infotech will deploy SAP ERP to integrate business operations to speed up implementation of rail infrastructure projects.
The IT deal will also include L&T Infotech delivering data centre hosting, collaboration and networking, including e-tendering, project management, finance, HR functions and support and maintenance. It will also integrate RVNL’s 24 project implementing units (PIUs) across India, including their corporate office at New Delhi.
“Our unique solutions will help RVNL streamline its operations thereby helping them save valuable time, resources and money,” said VK Magapu, managing director, L&T Infotech.
RVNL, using SAP solutions, will be in a position to map business processes to reduce costs and ensure implementation of railway projects.
