Huawei unveils AR series Agile Branch Gateway and OceanStor V3

Huawei has unveiled new enterprise solution including AR series Agile Branch Gateway and OceanStor V3 at the inaugural Huawei Southern Pacific Partner Conference.

The Huawei AR series Agile Branch Gateway aims to integrate routing, switching, voice, security, WLAN and VPN functions.

According to the Chinese information and communications technology (ICT) solutions  provider, this new solution helps to meet diversified needs of today’s enterprises and also lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Huawei AR series Agile Branch Gateway is based on the X86 or ARM platform and allows enterprise customers to extend cloud capabilities to anywhere the customers’ needs.

The cloud capabilities include enterprise office applications, unified communications, Android App and others, achieving application, network, and information openness and implementing value-added platform to partners.

Huawei Enterprise gains

Company officials said that it is the first ICT vendor to leverage innovative SDN and NFV architecture in the industry as well as the first to implement lifecycle management of ICT resources.

Additionally, OceanStor V3 was designed to help enterprises embrace cloud computing and converged storage to make business agile.

OceanStor V3 has five innovative converges: convergence of SAN and NAS, convergence of all level, convergence of SSD and HDD, convergence of primary and backup, and convergence of Heterogeneous.

Also, OceanStor eliminates data silos and allows the free flow of data to make business more agile.

Company said it is already working closely with partners to target entire product lifecycle including network planning, design, implementation, operation and improvement to help customers accelerate businesses.

“Moving forward, the company and partners will continue to develop joint marketing to leverage on strong local network and branding for demand generation,” said Raymond Lau, president of Huawei Global partners and alliances.

Last month, Huawei showcased its enterprise solutions portfolio, including data center, software-defined networking (SDN), and eLTE solutions, at Interop Las Vegas 2015.
