Orange Business Services announced its enterprise mobility deal with the Bihar State Wide Area Network (NextGen B-SWAN 2.0) project to support the communications requirements.
Bihar Government introduced the NextGen B-SWAN 2.0 to enhance the day-to-day communication and collaboration between the Government offices and departments. Orange Business will provide network connectivity, along with services, such as Domain Name System, email, internet, voice and video.
NextGen B-SWAN 2.0 will connect approximately 10,000 offices within the GoB through 674 PoPs. It will also provide IP telephony and videoconferencing to nearly 1,000 users across the State. More than 50,000 government users will use the network to access Internet and applications hosted at their state data center connected to B-SWAN 2.0.
