Forrester Research has ranked IBM as a leader among large enterprise mobile app services providers.
Forrester used three points to determine leadership including the current product line offered, the overall strategy in the market and the overall presence in the market and IBM received highest score for strategy.
According to the report “The Forrester Wave: Mobile Enterprise App Service Providers- Large Providers, Q1 2015,” IBM ranked as a leader among 10 service providers.
The research recognized IBM’s talent in the firm and its track record and combination of technology and business consulting skills matched up with its IBM Interactive Experience design system.
Further, IBM’s business models involving buying mobile services online helped IBM to be on top. The company’s commitment to invest in research and development that will benefit its mobile enterprise apps client was also highlighted.
IBM has 14 applications that were developed with its partnership with Apple, offering faster time to value and reduce development efforts for common industry functionality.
Forrester notes that employee and partner facing mobile apps can increase revenue as organizations are able to anticipate customer desires through analytics to turn leads into sales.
