Daily’s Shell brand shop taps NCR for better user experience

First Coast Energy has selected NCR Radiant point-of-sale (RPOS) technology to improve service and reliability at its Daily’s convenience stores in Florida.

Daily’s is the first Shell branded convenience chain to select NCR RPOS in the U.S. NCR’s solutions serve more than 60,000 petroleum and convenience sites around the world.

Aubrey Edge, CEO at First Coast Energy (Daily’s), said: “At Daily’s, our focus is always on the customer experience. We selected the NCR RPOS solution because we wanted to improve our speed of service, grow our food service capabilities, and improve uptime.”

Daily’s has also decided to implement NCR’s Customer Self Service (CSS) food ordering solution which creates better consumer experience.

NCR said this solution combines software used both by the shopper for ordering and the employee for food preparation, creating a fast, efficient and reliable experience. The software and hardware solution is built to work with mobile payments and loyalty programs, two additional ways for Daily’s to separate their experience from their competitors.

Daily’s, which has multiple retail customer touch points in fueling, dining and general retail, will benefit from  the NCR technology that allows Daily’s to increase the speed of transactions and evolve how they market and serve customers going forward.
