GENBAND has selected Vidyo to integrate VidyoWorks platform into GENBAND’s Smart Office Unified Communications (UC) solution.
The Smart Office users can seamlessly escalate phone calls to high quality multi-point video calls with screen sharing with the new offering.
The integrated solution has reduced the barriers to collaboration across multiple locations and remote users.
The users need not buy expensive, disparate collaboration tools that require separate training, administration and support.
The company said the VidyoWorks software-based architecture runs on commodity hardware and in virtual computing environments which lowers both the initial and ongoing cost and complexity of the solution when deployed in a service provider or enterprise’s network.
This apart, the scalability of the VidyoWorks platform in conjunction with the suite of GENBAND UC solutions provide the capacity and sophistication required to address the needs of business, government, education and healthcare customers.
Developers and solutions providers can address an increasing demand to integrate visual communications into productivity solutions enhancing the capacity for continuous workflow and business processes.

Last year in August, IndusInd Bank deployed Vidyo Video Branch a mobile and desktop-based banking service across India.
