HP inks 10-year IT deal with marketing analytics company Aimia

Enterprise networking supplier HP announced its IT deal with marketing analytics company Aimia to deliver agile environments for both internal and client facing IT operations.

The focus of the 10-year IT deal is to offer support to Aimia’s business by consolidating and virtualizing its IT infrastructure on the HP Helion Managed Virtual Private Cloud environment. In addition, HP will assist Aimia to introduce an optimized applications development and support management model.

HP in a statement said that the IT deal will enable Aimia to continue to expand its data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics services worldwide.

“The combination of Aimia’s industry leading products, platforms and insights and HP’s global infrastructure technologies and application expertise will assist Aimia in enabling our business strategy and provide enhanced services to our customers,” said Harry Pickett, Global CIO of Aimia.

In addition to transforming Aimia’s multiple IT platforms, HP will migrate the overall environment to an Infrastructure-as-a-Service model.

Eric Harmon, senior vice president, Global Practices and Transformation, HP Enterprise Services, said: “Transforming the provisioning of data centre services globally will provide Aimia with a solid foundation to support its growth strategy Aimia’s customer loyalty expertise is combining with HP’s Enterprise Services and HP Helion portfolio to deliver a stronger product and services capabilities for customers.”
