Research agency IDC has revealed its Converged systems market share report for Q1 2018.

Worldwide converged systems market revenue rose 19.6 percent to $3.2 billion in the first quarter of 2018, according to IDC.

The certified reference systems & integrated infrastructure market revenue fell 0.9 percent to $1.3 billion, accounting for 41.7 percent of total converged systems revenue.

Dell Inc. generated $641.3 million revenue for 48 percent share in certified reference systems & integrated infrastructure market. Cisco / NetApp generated $462 million revenue for 34.6 percent share. HPE generated $105.3 million revenue for 7.9 percent market share.

Hyperconverged systems revenue grew 76.3 percent to $1.2 billion, accounting for 38.3 percent of the total converged systems market.

Dell Inc. generated $363 million revenue for 29.6 percent share in Hyperconverged systems market. Nutanix generated $273 million revenue for 22.2 percent share. HPE generated $61.0 million revenue for 5 percent share. Cisco generated $59.9 million revenue for 4.9 percent market share.

VMware’s hyperconverged software represented $456.3 million revenue for 37.2 percent share. Nutanix’s hyperconverged software represented $398.7 million revenue for 32.5 percent share.

Integrated platforms revenue rose 0.9 percent to $641.2 million, accounting for 20 percent of the total converged systems market value. Oracle was the top-ranked supplier of integrated platforms, generating revenues of $356.8 million for 55.6 percent share.
