HP launches new products designed for SMBs

Infotech Lead America: HP has introduced new products designed to suit the budget and needs of SMBs.

The HP ProBook 400 Series business notebooks are 36 percent slimmer and 18 percent lighter that the company’s previous laptops. The laptops feature sleek design, better battery life, durability, essential security features and screen size in the range of 13.3 inches to 17.3 inches.

The HP ProBook 400 Series notebook PCs feature a range of powerful processors from Intel and AMD. Designed for people who do not compromise on aesthetics, it features a stylish Meteorite Grey casing with aluminum accents. The HP 3D DriveGuard protects the notebooks irrespective of location.

The HP ProBook 400 series notebooks offer a new hybrid hard drive option that combines the responsiveness of an SSD with the capacity of a traditional hard drive. Connectivity options include 4G WWAN.

The notebook PCs pack in a range of wireless capabilities and HP Client Security. They are Skype-ready, with DTS Sound+ for premium-quality audio and video conferencing.

Users can connect to larger HD displays through the HDMI port and use the notebook PCs for trainings and presentations with sound clarity provided by Altec Lansing speakers.

HP’s new printing and imaging solutions include the HP LaserJet Pro multifunction printer (MFP) M521 series which enables printing while on the go from their smartphone or tablet via HP ePrint, AirPrint and DirectPrint.

The HP LaserJet Enterprise M725 offers safeguarded, large volume printing and imaging capabilities at a low acquisition price. The HP Scanjet Pro 3000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner offers a small footprint and scan-to-cloud support.

The HP Officejet Pro 251dw Printer and HP Officejet Pro 276dw MFP offer professional printing for up to 50 percent lower cost per page than laser printers. It can be integrated seamlessly into existing IT infrastructures.The HP Officejet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One helps business customers bring print shop jobs in-house.

The HP ProBook 400 series and HP 200 series business notebooks are scheduled to be available in the United States this month. The HP ProBook 400 series is priced at $499 and HP 200 starts at $249.

The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M521 series, HP LaserJet Enterprise M725 and HP Scanjet Pro 3000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner are currently available worldwide.

The HP Officejet Pro 251dw Printer and HP Officejet Pro 276dw MFP are currently available in the United States. The HP Officejet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One is expected to be available July onwards.

According to IDC, HP shipped 15 million PCs last quarter, claiming a market share of 16.7 percent.
