New York Times appoints Nick Rockwell as CTO

Media company The New York Times Company announced the appointment of Nick Rockwell as its chief technology officer (CTO).

Rockwell will be responsible for technology operations, including infrastructure, e-commerce, enterprise computing and development of the company’s digital systems.

He will report to Kinsey Wilson, executive vice president, product and technology at The New York Times Company.
Rockwell joins the Times Company from Conde Nast, where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s technology development and operations.

He joined Conde Nast in 2012 as senior vice president, digital. Previously Rockwell served as CTO at The Ladders, Digital CTO at MTV Networks, and the technical founder of SonicNet, a music editorial startup.
