Intel India offers new maternity and paternity benefits to employees

Intel India has made changes to its employee benefit programs to become family-friendly employer.

The company said it will provide maternity, paternity and adoption space to its employee while providing the overall experiences for expected women employees.

In addition, women employees at Intel will also have pre-delivery and post-delivery benefits until they return to work.

Intel India has also increased maternity leave from 84 calendar days to 150 calendar days and paternity leave from 5 working days to 10 working days.

According to Intel India, company will also explore further enhancements and seek feedback from customers to benefit new offerings.

This apart, women employees returning from maternity can work part-time on full pay for up to 1 month.

Additionally, under family-friendly benefits, employees will have Day Care discounts, maternity hospitalization coverage, bereavement leave, short term sick leave, life and accident insurance cover, medical insurance programs, Health for Life program and interest-free salary advance for personal emergencies
