F5 Networks appoints John DiLullo to lead global sales

F5 Networks fourth quarter revenue up 9 percent to $395.3 million
F5 Networks has appointed Aruba Networks executive John DiLullo as executive vice president to lead its global sales organization. In addition to Aruba Networks, DiLullo worked with Avaya Communications, Cisco and SonicWALL.

Reporting to Manny Rivelo, president and CEO of F5 Networks, DiLullo will be responsible for overseeing the company’s sales and channel strategy. F5 aims to expand into areas of application security, service provider solutions, and cloud application deployment.

Prior to joining F5, he ran the Worldwide Sales and Services team at Aruba Networks, through their acquisition by Hewlett-Packard. Before this, he served Avaya Communications in three progressive General Manager roles — first as president of Asia-Pacific, then Latin America & Canada, and the entire Americas.

Before joining Avaya, DiLullo spent seven years at Cisco Systems, most recently as vice president of Channels, and three years at SonicWALL as vice president of Sales, Channels and Field Operations.
