Check Point Software Technologies has hired Cisco executive Marie Hattar as its chief marketing officer (CMO).
She will be responsible for Check Point’s brand and marketing efforts, including product and solutions marketing, corporate marketing, field marketing, corporate communications and partner marketing.
In addition, Hattar and her team will drive Check Point’s corporate positioning strategy, messaging and communications to both internal and external audiences.
At Cisco, she was the vice president and she led the company’s enterprise networking and security portfolios.
Prior to Cisco, she worked at Nortel Networks, Alteon WebSystems, and Shasta Networks in senior marketing and CTO positions.
Hattar has over 20 years of marketing experience spanning the security, routing, switching, telecom, and mobility markets.
