Enterprise networking vendor Brocade has hired Riverbed executive Fiona Lam as senior marketing director for Asia Pacific.
Fiona Lam, who will be based in Hong Kong – reporting to Brocade chief marketing officer Christine Heckart, will be responsible for driving the company’s corporate and channel marketing strategies across the region.
Lam’s marketing initiatives including focused channel programs will be targeted at Ethernet fabrics, Software-defined Networking (SDN), and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) across APAC.
At Riverbed, where she worked as head of marketing and director of channel marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan, she led the marketing operations in APJ as well as driving targeted marketing programs that were vital in securing partnerships with distributors, resellers, service providers, and integrators.
Prior to Riverbed, Lam was vice president of marketing for Greater China at Monster.com, and held senior APAC field marketing and strategic partner development roles at Juniper Networks.
