Devices vendor Toshiba America Information Systems has priced its new Satellite P55t laptop at $1,499.99. It features 4K Ultra HD display.
Satellite P55t that comes with Technicolor Color Certification is targeted at visual creative professionals and multimedia enthusiasts.
“Creative professionals are embracing 4K Ultra HD as it enables a whole new level of media creation that draws viewers in with amazing detail and clarity,” said Carl Pinto, vice president of marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems.
Satellite P55t’s 15.6-inch diagonal Ultra HD TruBrite touchscreen display houses four times as many pixels as a Full HD screen. It offers a native 3840 x 2160 resolution with 282 PPI.
Preinstalled Chroma Tune for Toshiba software enables users to personalize and manage individual color space control and apply profiles to a variety of software applications.
Satellite P55t 4K Ultra HD model includes a full version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 software, ideal for photographers.
The Toshiba laptop features Intel Core i7 quad core processor, up to 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L memory and AMD Radeon R9 M265X enthusiast-class graphics with 2GB GDRR5 video memory.
The laptop includes a 1TB hard drive5 with a 3D impact sensor, four USB 3.0 ports6, a UHS-II SD card slot, ultrafast 802.11ac Wi-Fi to stream Ultra HD videos, an HDMI port capable of 4K output and an available built-in Blu-ray Disc Re-writable drive7.
