BenQ unveils advanced projectors in India

BenQ has launched a series of projectors to cater the needs in the education, enterprise, retail and home entertainment sectors.

At Infocomm 2015 in held in Mumbai, BenQ revealed a home entertainment projector W3000 with 6X RGBRGB Color Wheel that delivers Rec. 709 HDTV Standard for Cinematic Color.

BenQ promised that this projector will give big-screen entertainment. The company also showcased an interchangeable lens projector with Image warping using six projectors.

BenQ demonstrated PX9600 and SH963 to bring the professional audio visual experience to big spaces. PX9600 has interchangeable lens and 6,000 lumens brightness.

On the other hand, the full HD 1080p BenQ SH963 model features 6500 lumen high brightness. It has a contrast ratio of 8,300:1, detail-enhancing HQV processors and 3D color management tool to give picture quality. SH963 is priced at Rs 3,95,000 and it is available across India.

Furthermore, BenQ’s said its SW921 projector would be ideal for daily business use. This would be fit for large and well-lit conference rooms.

The company demonstrated full HD ultrashort throw projector MH856UST to meet the education sector’s requirements. This was made to suit smaller classrooms and features 84” display panel RP840G. There is also a 65” interactive panel RP652H with 10 point multi touch interactivity. The RP652H is priced at Rs 3,50,000 and RP840G is priced at Rs 10,00,000.

BenQ’s projectors for retail sector, ST550K and BH280, are also unveiled at the event. This will cost Rs 1,40,000, and Rs 1,20,000, respectively.
