ASUS Technology to increase Microsoft based Notebook share in overall product portfolio


Infotech Lead India: ASUS Technology said it will increase Microsoft based Notebook share in its overall product portfolio.

On Tuesday, ASUS launched Intel’s Core processor based Ultrabooks S series and the Thin & Light F series in India.

“We cherish our association with Intel and Microsoft. Our relationship has been growing stronger with Intel and we intend to continue delivering great offerings to our customers with this association. We are increasing Microsoft based Notebook share in our overall product portfolio,” said Alex Huang, managing director, System Business Group, Asus India.

With the launch of S Series & F Series, ASUS is confident of increasing its market share in notebooks market in India.

Asus S Series of Ultrabooks are positioned for mainstream computing. Equipped with Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor and weighing 2.4 KGs, the S Series is a perfect fit for superior mobile computing & longer battery life.

Asus is offering S56CA-XX030R at a price of Rs 46,999.

Asus S56CA-XX056R is priced at Rs 52,999.

Asus S Series comes with one year onsite warranty.

It comes with a Hybrid storage which comprises 24GB SSD storage and a 500GB/ 750GB HDD. S Series offers 2-second instant on resume from sleep or hibernate mode, cutting out long reboot times and putting you back to work or enjoyment right where you left off. S Series offers up to 13 days of standby.

Asus F501A-XX187R is a Thin and Light Portable Notebook, which comes with Intel Core i3 processor 2350M, 2.3G, 3M. It is a 15.6″ HD Glare notebook supports an instant on in 2 seconds and has up to 14-day standby.

Asus is offering the F501A-XX187R at a price of Rs 35,999.

It encompasses Windows 7 Home Basic and an HDD capacity for better computing experiences with 500GB 5400rpm. It has VGA – Intel HD 4000, HDMI, and 0.3 Megapixel Webcam. Its IceCool Technology keeps palm rests cool, placing heat-producing components away from users. To enable more powerful sound performance it comprises SonicMaster Lite.
