Reliance Globalcom changes name to Global Cloud Xchange, plans data center expansion

Reliance Globalcom, which will be re-branded as Global Cloud Xchange, today said it will expand its data center footprint, especially across key emerging markets in Asia and the Middle East.

The launch of its new corporate identity aligns with the company’s strategic plan to deliver the world’s first true cloud ecosystem globally.

“We are living in an era where mobile applications, social media, key technology drivers and applications will exponentially boost the volume of digital information being shared every second,” said Bill Barney, CEO of Global Cloud Xchange.

The focus of Global Cloud Xchange will be on further integrating its global assets to serve existing and future requirements of new media companies, carriers and enterprises.

The company is also updating its product portfolio is also being updated to deliver additional value added solutions.
