Daptiv opens data center in Netherlands

Daptiv, a provider of on-demand project portfolio management software, has opened its data center in the Netherlands.

The company’s first European data center will address customer demand for the company’s SaaS-based PPM software.

Daptiv said the new data center is a significant investment for the company. Daptiv is the first cloud-based provider to offer an EMEA-based data center.

The Telecom and Integrated Applications (TIA) directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA) will be the first customer of the new data center in Amsterdam.

ESA has also expanded its Daptiv PPM subscription.

“This new data centre is ideally located to serve our customers in the region particularly those with international security and privacy concerns. Our infrastructure expansion into EMEA represents an important milestone for Daptiv, and customers who are continuing to invest in innovative solutions that drive their businesses forward on a global scale,” said John Baldwin, Daptiv’s CEO.

Daptiv claims that its SaaS-based software is used by more than 100,000 subscribers worldwide across industry verticals ranging from healthcare and education to technology and financial services, among others.

Meanwhile, Daptiv is expanding its presence in the United Kingdom by opening an office in London. The new office will serve its growing customer base in the region. Mark Dallimore, director for Daptiv in the UK, will oversee operations for the office.
