Enterprise cloud vendor VMware said its fourth quarter revenue in 2013 rose 15 percent to $1.48 billion from the fourth quarter of 2012. Net income grew 62 percent to $335 million.
VMware’s full year revenue for 2013 increased 13 percent to $5.21 billion. Net income rose 36 percent to $1.01 billion.
“Our strong performance throughout 2013 is evidence that our customers are embracing our vision and realizing value from our solutions,” said Pat Gelsinger, chief executive officer, VMware. “In every region of the world, customers are making a long-term bet on VMware to help them transform their businesses for the mobile-cloud world.”
VMware increased its guidance for 2014.
