T-Systems, a division of Deutsche Telekom, today said it runs the world’s largest cloud platform for SAP, quoting analyst firm Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC).
“With more than 40 million SAPS (SAP Application Performance Standard) and more than 2.6 million productive SAP users T-Systems provides the basic operation and the biggest cloud-hosting platform for SAP landscapes worldwide,” said PAC in its latest report.
“T-Systems increased its cloud business well over average. Cloud revenues increased by some 40 percent in the last fiscal year,” said Ferri Abolhassan, director of T-Systems IT division.
T-Systems serves more than 5 million users at 500 companies, 2.6 million of which are served from the cloud. Some 80 percent of new customers for SAP services elect for the dynamically adaptable services from a high-security private cloud.
