Enterprise IT vendor Oracle announced Oracle Marketing Cloud targeting educational institutions to enhance student engagement and retention.
The latest cloud solution from Oracle is designed to assist marketers to improve student success by enhancing targeting and engagement and improving orchestration of student marketing efforts across multiple channels.
The reason behind the Oracle Marketing Cloud for student engagement was increased competition for enrollment and increasing dropout rates. It became very important to implement marketing programs that can attract and retain students and engage alumni at the same time.
The new Oracle Marketing Cloud for student engagement solution provides advanced targeting and segmentation capabilities. The new solution will deliver the right messages to the right students at the right time.
The Oracle Marketing Cloud for student engagement solution features pre-build data models and customized campaign templates and will provide a marketing campaign to attract more students as well as to improve the retention rate of those who have already enrolled.
The Oracle Marketing Cloud for student engagement combines with a number of existing Oracle cloud services including Oracle’s content Marketing, Social Relationship Management, Customer Relationship Management and AppCloud.

Oracle in a statement issued on Monday said that Marketing Cloud has industry specific marketing solutions for higher education, manufacturing, wealth management, insurance, asset management, sports, entertainment, nonprofits and life sciences.
Meanwhile, Oracle announced the three new services in conjunction with the Alliance Conference for Oracle application users, held in Nashville.
One of the three services provides a wealth of information which can be used to generate sales lead. Another service focuses on customer feedback and the third service helps educational institutions to get in better touch with their students.
