CSC plans new hybrid cloud management solution

IT services company CSC is planning to launch a hybrid cloud management solution that integrates CSC ServiceMesh Agility Platform with Microsoft System Center datacenter management product.

The objective of the new hybrid cloud management solution is to provide enterprises with greater flexibility, simplicity and efficiency in building, cataloguing and deploying applications on multiple clouds, including CSC BizCloud and Microsoft Azure, CSC said.

Customers will be able to adopt the Microsoft Cloud OS vision enabled by System Center, Windows Server and Azure and will be able to compress IT delivery time and lower management costs with end-to-end application lifecycle management across multiple clouds.

System Center and ServiceMesh Agility Platform customers will be able to manage, monitor, and automate applications over heterogeneous and hybrid clouds. This combined solution also allows enterprises to create lab environments for development and testing, which adheres to predefined blueprints and policies over heterogeneous clouds rapidly, safely and automatically.

“As the demand for hybrid cloud solutions continues to rise, customers are turning to Microsoft’s Cloud OS to get the best of public and private cloud computing with Windows Server with Hyper-V, System Center and Azure,” said Microsoft’s Mike Schutz, general manager for Windows Server & Management product marketing.

CSC ServiceMesh Agility Platform facilitates development, delivery and management of enterprise applications across hybrid clouds and provides clients with advanced capabilities such as policy-driven governance, compliance and security, integrated release automation, and cloud and infrastructure independent application blueprinting.
