Launched in 2012’s first half, the subscription-based au Cloud service provides secure storage to KDDI customers.

Cleversafe’s Information Dispersal technology allowed KDDI to meet its requirements such as secured and scalable storage cost-effectively.

“Extensive research on Cleversafe’s technology and customer base ensured us that its solutions could meet our rigorous requirements for high reliability, availability and cost-effectiveness,” said Akihito Fujii, KDDI’s general manager of Cloud Service Development.
