Haier America today announced the appointment of Deanna Johnston as chief information officer (CIO).
Deanna Johnston, as CIO, will lead the implementation of Haier America’s operational excellence strategy as well as define the organization’s business process architecture, translate the process architecture into IT architecture and develop an IT systems improvement roadmap to close process and system gaps.
For the past seven years, she served as CIO of Belkin International, accountable for providing IT strategy and leadership. In 2013, she managed the integration of the Linksys business into Belkin’s processes and systems after Belkin purchased Linksys from Cisco.
Prior to Belkin, Deanna Johnston was the vice president of Information Technology for Ingram Micro’s North American BU, responsible for all IT service delivery to the North American BU with over 4,000 employees.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant for both Price Waterhouse and Arthur Anderson, managing the implementation of many enterprise application systems for clients.
