Barracuda Networks has expanded its channel program to provide the necessary structure and tools to allow resellers to sell and support Barracuda solutions for mutual customers.
The objective of the new program is to accelerate profitability for loyal customers and to attract new partners.
Barracuda has added an additional level-Premier. The previous levels including Diamond, Platinum and Certified tiers are rebranded as Preferred, Authorized and Registered respectively.
The new program will have four levels including Premier, Preferred, Authorized and Registered levels for Barracuda’s top sellers.
Revenue and training requirements are also adjusted in order to support Value Added Resellers (VARs) at all levels of the partner program.
The quality managed service partners can sell Barracuda Backup and Barracuda NG Firewall.
The program also includes improved discounts for evaluation products and an increase in purchase limit for products used for training and partner backup.
Partners can now register four times the amount of Barracuda solutions, with increased product discounts to reward partner-generated opportunities.
Barracuda University is available to assist partners with training.
Upon launching its new partner program, Barracuda partners in good standing will be officially enrolled in the new levels.

Last year, Barracuda launched NG Firewall version 6.0, which offered advanced threat detection (ATD) to protect customers against malware and zero-day attacks.
