IT services firm Wipro in association with Cisco launched its Customer Experience Center (CEC) at Wipro’s Mountain View office in California, United States.
The lab is designed to demonstrate emerging technologies, test proof of concepts and give customers the opportunity to see the latest data center, enterprise, and cloud solutions in real-world, real-time scenarios, said Wipro.
The Wipro CEC leverages Cisco’s UCS infrastructure for the SAP HANA platform, Common Platform Architecture for Big Data, and Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
The Wipro CEC aims to give customers the environment they need to drive pilot projects and test new solutions before enterprise deployment.
Rick Snyder, vice president, Global & Strategic Partner Organization, Cisco said, “Cisco and Wipro are demonstrating and driving proof of concepts in the areas of SAP HANA, Big Data, Cloud, and Application-Centric Infrastructure.”
Azim H Premji, chairman, Wipro, and Robert Lloyd, president, Development and Sales, Cisco, recently inaugurated the CEC.
The facility in Mountain View, California, is the third Innovation lab to be opened in association with Cisco.
It follows the Bangalore CEC, India, which opened in 2012, and an Energy industry-focused CEC opened in 2013 in Houston, Texas.
Enterprise customers will benefit from the improved visibility of business processes, inventory forecast algorithms, streamlined supply chain processes, real-time analytics for industry-specific solutions based on the SAP HANA platform and built on Cisco UCS Rack Servers.
The other use cases include Machine-to-Machine (M2M), digital marketing, and social media analytics leveraging Cisco’s UCS Common Platform Architecture for Big Data.
The CEC will demonstrate hybrid cloud migration strategies built on Cisco’s OpenStack-enabled Intercloud architecture.
This apart, there will be demonstration of Internet of Everything use cases across industries, said Wipro.
