Lumenis deploys Cognizant complaint handling solution

Lumenis, an energy-based medical device company, has deployed CognizantMedVantage, a cloud-based complaint handling solution.

By utilizing Cognizant’s MedVantage Complaint Management Solution, Lumenis will be able to track device and other issues automatically and precisely, classify and maintain online from start to finish for improved service, efficiency and reporting.

“Cognizant MedVantage solution integrates seamlessly with our existing Salesforce infrastructure and provides all of our stakeholders with a critical end-to-end complaint management solution,” said Amir Belferman, global CIO of Lumenis.

MedVantage enables Lumenis to manage product complaints and related adverse events, Medical Device Reporting (MDR)/Vigilance reporting, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, and internal/external audit tracking.
