IT services company Cognizant Technology Solutions today said its revenue in the fourth quarter of 2014 rose 16.4 percent to $2.74 billion.
Excluding the fourth quarter revenue from the acquisition of TriZetto, quarterly revenue rose 13 percent.

Cognizant said the net headcount addition was approximately 11,800, including TriZetto, and year-end headcount was approximately 211,500.

Cognizant revenue in 2014
Cognizant said its 2014 revenue increased 16.1 percent to $10.26 billion. Excluding 80.6 million revenue from the acquisition of TriZetto, revenue rose 15.1 percent.
Net income for 2014 was $1.44 billion compared to $1.23 billion.
Cognizant said its first quarter 2015 revenue is expected to be at least $2.88 billion, while 2015 revenue will be at least $12.21 billion, up at least 19 percent compared to 2014.
