Cognizant enables ACCO Brands to modernize IT infrastructure

Technology outsourcing major Cognizant has enabled ACCO Brands Corporation to cloud-enable their IT infrastructure for improved business agility, performance and reduced costs.

Illinois-based ACCO Brands markets products under brands such as Mead, Swingline and Day-Timer and many others in over 100 countries.

Cognizant has supported ACCO Brands to migrate workloads in enterprise SAP systems from an on-premise data center to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. ACCO Brands is also following a pay-per-use Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) model. Benefits to ACCO Brands include flexibility, availability and scalability of its IT environment, reduction in risk and quick response to changing business needs.

Cognizant executed an accelerated cloud migration and implementation for ACCO Brands with no business disruption.

ACCO Brands benefitted from lower capital and operating expenses by hosting SAP applications on Azure and simultaneously upgrading underlying technologies.

The investment in IT modernization assisted to ACCO Brands to gain from a strong foundation for the digital enablement of the enterprise, including using advanced analytics for greater business insight.
