Accenture provides pension administrative services to BTPS

BT Pension Scheme has extended its relationship with Accenture to access pension administrative services for eight years.

Accenture supported BT Pension Scheme (BTPS) for 15 years.

The company said it will develop its pension administration capability to enhance the Scheme’s ability to provide high quality pension administration support to its 300,000 members.

Accenture’s pension service center in Chesterfield, UK will deliver services to BTPS and Bangalore team will provide support for the same.

“This new contract provides for further investment in the administration function to continue to enhance the service provided to members. It secures a stable administration platform for the Scheme and will enable the Trustee to work in partnership with Accenture to meet the ongoing needs of the Scheme,” said Paul Spencer CBE, chairman of the BT Pension Scheme Trustee Board.

Few days ago, Accenture acquired PacificLink Group, an independent set of full service digital agencies in Hong Kong, to strengthen its digital marketing and commercial capabilities in Greater China.

Also, Accenture has bagged a five-year BPO contract extension from Deutche Bank to provide procurement business process outsourcing (BPO) services globally to the bank.
