IBM Watson said Centura Health Heart and Vascular Network have implemented CafeWell Concierge, a new customer engagement solution.
The application is powered by IBM Watson and combines Welltok’s Health Optimization Platform with Watson’s ability to understand natural language.
Welltok is a member of the IBM Watson Ecosystem.
CafeWell Concierge will support and guide consumers in their health journey and empower them to make smarter decisions.
Additionally, users can ask questions about daily health management and recommendations, find options for cardiac rehabilitation exercises and activities and can participate in online communities and support groups.
The consumers can have immediate access to health and wellness resources and supports Centura Health in delivering a highly personalized experience with relevant and actionable recommendations. The recommendations are based on the individual’s health conditions, interests, motivations and goals. Watson also customizes its recommendations to create a richer and more interactive social experience.

Recently, IBM expanded IBM Watson ecosystem and welcomed more than 270 new commercial partners to the Watson ecosystem.
Last year in October, Metropolitan Health selected the cognitive computing capabilities of IBM Watson to transform health advisory services and thus deliver improved personal care.
